Finally got to bring Sidereal Confluence to the table. Some issues with the teach but knowing the game now it becomes a lot easier. Maybe trying it for the first time with 7 players was bold, but it went down well!

In a sense it's the Catan killer I always wanted.

Thanks for putting a spotlight on the game! Not sure I would've found it otherwise and it does feel special. It's rare to have a game that I feel excited to find everything about and just the same excitement to show and lend it to friends too!

Played our second session of Vantage. Crazy game to see what they've put into that world! It's the first time I've played a boardgame for so long in one session trying to avoid finishing the game!
Stumbled upon the spoiler pack this session early in and we were not expecting that!

Aliens vs Predator 1999. I remember playing it way too young and getting a decent bit into the Alien and Predator campaigns, but I also remember the start of the Marine campaign and being frozen in fear at the large rooms being only lit by your crappy green night vision with your tracker going off!

I know I've not been billed for this issue from the subscription yet (please let me know if I should've by now!) Is this including subscribers or just pre-orders just now?

Dug out an old classic for our group, Shogun.
Still undecided how much I like the balance of that game but the cube tower means that it always has a place in our hearts as a Risk-like with a major difference.
I'd love to see that mechanic used again in some other game (apart from Wallenstein).

Tried Quest for El Dorado for the first time and it was every bit as breezy and great as people have said!
Also some Star Wars Carcassonne which is always a fun time, maybe in spite of itself as it really pushes the boundaries of what it means to be a 'good' game.
