FADE IN: EXT. BOHEMIAN NEIGHBORHOOD, SEVEN SAYS AHEAD - DAY Warm spring day. Towering trees shelter the ten-floor building. Wrought iron fences guard the patios. Window blinds block the souls of tenants. Bright green perennials line the pathway. Next door, a one-floor convenience store. Glass front window shows rows of junk food and overpriced emergency items. Distant low traffic O.S. rumbles. Spring birds CHIRP between tree branches. A WHISTLING WIND blasts, then descends. INT. EDEN'S APARTMENT - BEDROOM - SAME One-bedroom on the top floor of the Bohemian Apartment. Dark, spacious room. One bed and dresser. Sunlight filters through closed blinds. Piles of art supplies in every corner: canvases. Sketchbooks, boxes of paint tubes. Darkness seeps out of the closed CLOSET. Paintings and framed prints on the walls show elaborate gardens throughout the ages, hidden by the shadows of the room. Next to a SMARTPHONE, a DRAGON MIRROR on the dresser with a frame that looks like the mirror is eating itself. In the mirror's reflection... EDEN GEARD (30S) elegantly rises in bed. She's as beautiful as a punk rock star like Taylor Momsen, and as fit as a troubled woman. She stretches and yawns. She peers beside her... TANNIN GAL (late 20s), her dangerously sexy lover and drug dealer, is still fast asleep. Face down on the bed. She nudges him. No response. EDEN C'mon. Please? Tannin groans and throws his arm over his face. Eden slides out of bed, reaches for a silk robe, and puts it on. She pauses to admire the garden pictures on the walls.

SUPER: "Home is where the heart is, but where is the heart?" - Lord Byron. WENDY BERMAN (30s), deflects flirting UNIVERSITY STUDENTS (18-20s) and wipes the COUNTER around her adorable son, ELI VAUGHN (5). She's a rose in an urban garden. Eli hugs his plastic dinosaur toy and quietly mimics CHOMPS and ROARS. WENDY I don't want to take my husband's name. I love him, but I'm keeping my name. It's about preserving who I am, you know? BUSINESSWOMAN (40s) sips her specialty coffee. BUSINESSWOMAN Easy to get lost with family. WENDY Right? I juggle so much, caring for everybody. Eli, Sage. Wendy flips her rag and catches a few stains. WENDY My husband's an artist, and let me tell you, I have witnessed many nervous breakdowns. CUSTOMERS nod with sympathy. JAIME SCHMIDT (40s), boss and manager, casual business dress, walks behind Wendy and checks an inventory list on his tablet. JAIME Kids don't belong on the counter. WENDY Mine does!

FADE IN: INT. EAU CLAIRE - FOYER - DAY In an abandoned two-floor hospital, dead tree branches that stick out of a broken window bend with the growing wind. Cracked walls. Diamond-pattern tile floor. VANDAL (late teens). wearing a hoodie, holds his spray can steady as he jogs around a metal bench. He eyes one wall. Aims... HSSSSSS Black spray paint soaks the wall cracks and drips. Vandal writes big letters in French. CHILDREN LIVED HERE He steps back and admires his work. O.S. SKITTER. He frowns, slowly turns and -- A WALL CHUNK FLIES into him. He flies backward and smashes into the bench. VANDAL POV Dazed, he rubs his head. Stares hard at the ceiling. Opens his mouth wide and -- BLACK SCREEN: Screams explode, then suddenly cuts off. SUPER: Inspired by true stories. INT. METRO PASSENGER CAR - DAY The train CHUGS and slides to a stop. IAN MALONE (36;deaf) grips a pole as the morning CROWD of business people and university students rushes around him. His clean face disguises a dark past. Think James Caverly. He flinches as he reads the scrolling downtown Montréal station names on the digital sign. The Crowd settles. The train moves. Ian grips the pole harder.

Not of the full PDF page. But it's okay, I figured out a way to simply convert the PDF to a jpg and it works just fine.

Just remembered that there's free PDF to jpg converters online. I tested, and it looks the same is a phone snapshot. Wonderful workaround.

Yeah, it is messy. I had tried. Hoping for a less messy solution. I think using my Gdrive would be my only option, sharable link. Hopefully that works.

I see a lot of people sharing the first page of their WIP script, which is wonderful, but, as phone screenshots. I don't use a phone for the net. Laptop with accessibility tools for my #disability. There doesn't seem to be an option to upload a PDF on Bluesky. Suggestions? #scriptsky #screenwriter

I case anyone's interested, I have a bunch of free short scripts for any #filmmaker. #screenwriting #notpromotingjustsaying

There's no set number, but I've been told by producers, around 90 pages is ideal. That's for production, not necessarily the reader. Lower budget, around microbudget, 80 pages, give or take.

Hugely depends on genre. If it's a drama, 143 pages might be okay. Any other genre, could be a problem.

So many levels of awesome, I couldn't name them all!

So, are we calling it Blue-sky or Bluesky, as in Brewsky? Both?

That's actually the perfect logline.
