I'm teaching until 7:30 tonight and I just spilled my late lunch/early dinner of mac and cheese all over the place. At least I ate the apple first? Wish me strength making it through 2 more classes.

Interview went okay. I felt like I was repeating myself and stumbling over my words more than I have in previous interviews, but it is what it is. Hopefully will move on to the next round!

HEB delivered a brisket queso dip to me by mistake and I have no idea what to do with it (I don't eat meat). They did refund me, which was nice, but I do not need this large thing of food I won't eat.

I have my interview today and I am sooo sleeeepy! Just made myself a third cup of tea; hopefully that will help!

I am so tired and I still have a 2 hour pharm class to teach that begins in 27 minutes.

On the plane and there are screens! But the guy next to me is FaceTiming with the phone on speaker WILL IT EVER END?

There is a guy on the phone for the second time and he's watching something on a separate phone at the same time and why are people.

I really hope the plane home has screens. The plane out did not. I just feel like chilling out with a movie for the duration of the flight.

I am at the airport, at the gate, and ready to be done with other people. There are people on the phone and families and just plain PEOPLE EVERYWHERE and I am ready to be done with being surrounded by talking strangers.

Spent some time today at the Duane White Feather exhibit at the Walker Art Museum today. The rest of the museum was good, but her work was AMAZING. Wanted to buy the book, but it was too heavy. Heading back to the hotel after I sit for a bit.

I'm on Tumblr again, and more than I am here these days. I am desperately searching for people to talk about the weewoo show with. It kept me sane while writing my dissertation (which has been approved! woohoo!). Buck and Tommy have consumed my fannish life. I have written, and plan to write more.

Just got four vaccines: Covid, flu, pneumonia, and RSV. My arms already hurt; I’m ready for a miserable weekend if need be.

After some encouragement from various people, I've decided to apply for [redacted]. We'll see how it goes.

Heard back from my quant committee member yesterday (and he finally signed with his first name, so I guess now that I have a doctorate he considers me worthy), & I just sent off the final revision of my dissertation! Woohoo!
