He’s actually not far from home - we knew that would not be good for him, although he was desperate to live the student life not commute. I think once he finds friends it will be ok. He’s ND so that complicates matters

Middle son sad and homesick at uni - can’t find his tribe, feels flatmates don’t like him 😩 very early days but feel so awful that I can’t do anything but cheerlead from afar

The absolute worst feeling - yr kid is at uni and unable to come out of thru room and speak to anyone. (2nd child not 1st, done this before but others diff characters). Just devastating worrying from afar

Taking middle son to uni. It’s a lot harder to fit everything in the car when u have to take guitars, amps and stereos as well as everything else 😬 fuelling at McDs on the way 😁

Ugh I hate that feeling. My son starts his first proper day teaching in secondary tomorrow. Exciting but terrifying I expect (obvs Inset but still)
