Nä, och "ordning i klassrummet" är också en process. Ibland blir det lite överdrivet fokus på relationsbyggande men det är klart att du som lärare har en relation med eleverna som sträcker sig mycket längre än en lektion.

Men att få lön medan man pluggade hade kanske varit ett för bra erbjudande att nobba bara för att jag var lite skeptisk.

Säger inte att det var för att jag var kritisk, jag var helt enkelt inte sån som de hade tänkt sig. Tråkigt att bli nobbad men det blev ganska tydligt för mig av den där dagen (även innan jag fick nobben) att det var ett ideologiskt projekt i högsta grad, och kanske inte riktigt min grej.

Det var mycket rollspel och jag tyckte (och sa) att jag inte tyckte att det var särskilt realistiska situationer och att korta rollspel aldrig kunde fånga upp den förmåga... 1/n

It should be avoided like the plague. But there are strong ideological forces that see the whole public sector as fundamentally unproductive if nobody can profit.

Not yet, I'm taking some time off. I'm not too worried about finding work but it isn't easy to get work for a good employer. When there are so many bad ones there is very high competition for coveted jobs at good publicly owned schools. So I'm pessimistic about things being better at the next job.

Exactly.

Many of my colleagues have embraced AI. Others use it for some things, especially since leadership actively push for its use. And some (like me) are openly very critical. That is not a lot of fun when you work for a school whose ownership is fanatical about it (I'm no longer with that school).
