have I hit a lull with edits because I have been overloaded with work this week or because I am lazy and unmotivated?

I am really open for any feedback! Mostly looking for peoples opinions on the plot, pacing and characters and overall enjoyment!

the question is do i reread and do some final edits on my school paper or submit it as is because I only need >50% to pass the class?

Yay! Right now its 86k but there is a little bit more I plan to add in this last round of editing so it will likely end up being between 85k-90k

Pitch for a goddesses blessing: Nisa is willing to do whatever it takes to kill the king; including giving up her fate. She casts the lost spell and it brings her to Ezra. Ezra needs a goddess's blessing to finish his mission and join the king's guard. He prays, and summons Nisa. Nisa tricks him into helping her, confident his assumptions are as much a lie as the ones she is feeding him. But as the world starts to shift with her emotions, she wonders whose hands her fate is truly in.

I went through and edited the poems to be in my image, and learned a lot along the way. Which turned out to be a lot of fun and a great writing exercise!

Sometimes I think I am a writer just so I can make up people that can't get mad at me

I was halfway into reading this when I realized "THE 3-HEART SWORDLESS RUN OF OCARINA OF TIME IS COMPLETED! (except for 3 spots where a sword is mandatory)" is not a very cool and long book name but a video game thing...

it's really cool when you finish the hard edits of your book and get to move onto the easy stuff.
Like last week I was reworking the ending and adding 2 new chapters, this week I am figuring out if I want to change this side characters name because a book I am currently reading uses it

There are some people I am convinced are NPCs

Especially this guy who has an eagles(the football team) shine on top of his car and he will blast bird nosies and the fight song. Like I see him at least once a week and am convinced he does nothing but drive around. HOW COULD HE BE REAL

I decided to skip writing to watch sports this morning... I shouldn't have let myself get invested

That is a wrap on the developmental edits of GODDESSwip! Somehow I managed to get it done in a month

Now to add 2 more chapters and fix a few small things before line edits!

This is one of my favorite things to do. In GODDESSwip I take 'only one bed' and turn it into 'too many beds'

I'm starting to set up my substack... and why didn't I do this sooner? I am so excited

The problem with being crafty is i don't buy anything because i think i can make it. A fancy dinner? I could cook that. A holiday sweater? I can crochet that. Literally any dessert? Let me open my oven. Artwork? I can paint that

we have officially reached the part of dev edits where I am jumping around because there are too many chapters I am scared of.
A lot of these last ones need near complete rewrites, but I think I will be able to get it done this week!
