The word for this week's #lesficfri is thanks, and I chose a couple of snippets to show what my characters are thankful for...for Luce, it's obviously Kendra. For Angie, things are quite complicated this Christmas, even though she did find the perfect gift.

We've been learning for a while about books that have been targeted. Unfortunately, the goal of those behind the bans goes far beyond the numbers we've seen already. GCLS & SASS have our backs. That's why I stand with them. #bannedbooksweek #sapphicswiththebanned

For this week's #lesficfri, the word is tempt, and here's a bit of a throwback Friday, to the very beginning of Carpenter/Harding. I'm fortunate that readers were tempted to read more about Jordan and Ellie, because we'll be up to book #18 in January!

And I've been in a bit of a writing slump (not *not* writing, but also not loving it) for a few months, but now I'm excited about what's next on the schedule. Publishing for 2026 is set, new series in 2027 - and likely, another surprise!

This has been quite the wild year for indie authors (and in general, obviously). Sapphic readers rock for keeping our books visible in this climate. 💕
