Most North American cities that have a “Vision Zero” declaration have not actually done the work. Vision Zero works, but it’s not going to happen if we’re too afraid to inconvenience a single motorist.

That is the bottom line. I want leaders to get bolder about sharing their personal climate values and that feel uncomfortable - but has SO MUCH power for the bigger cause. Let's hear it for facing into the mess and challenging our comfort zone a bit more, Matthew!
