Though temperatures are running quite mild Friday morning (still 65 in Lincoln as I'm writing this), clouds are moving out with a northerly breeze developing for the day. Should be a pretty great Friday.
Above average temperatures for October will continue through the weekend.

Tomorrow morning's forecast looks just a bit colder, making it what could be the coldest morning since May 4 if we do drop to 42Β°. Possible patchy fog, too.

Tonight is the first of FOUR consecutive supermoons to end 2025 and start 2026 (October, November, December and January). Rare and cool!
A supermoon happens when the full moon is very close to Earth. The moon looks bigger and ~30% brighter than normal as it's near the horizon.

Heads up to a couple cooler overnights into Tuesday and Wednesday mornings (October 7 and 8, 2025).
The latter may cause patchy frost to form in some areas attempting to cool closer to 40Β° early Wednesday (winds less than 8 mph, maybe enough moisture in the air?).
