Thurgood Marshall, in an 8-1 SCOTUS decision, noted that government employees know how the gov’t works, and the public has a special interest in hearing from them.

Remember: There is nothing natural or inevitable about extreme inequality; it’s the result of an economic system that values wealth and power over human dignity and justice.

I’m so pissed about this! Luckily I have not signed anything yet. I am financially careful and use the gov tools to estimate my benefits. Yet here they stand ready to reduce the amount by 30% sometime between accepting a deferred retirement plan and actually being retired. What a con!
