i feel mildly sorry for the utdr fans who got blindsided by toby fox voicing john but i do wonder if they forgot/never heard about the "toby fox made undertale in andrew hussie's basement" thing. or his general involvement in homestuck. it was not insignificant; megalovania was in homestuck b4 ut

both of these groups are cut from the same cloth so the idea that they think they're better than each other is really something else. been seeing this from the homestuck fans in particular

Ruaa has had her bank account in limbo (hopefully it will be resolved) which has led to a lot of the money she raised not currently being accessible- luckily her organizer is able to send it in another way anything she is raising now- and there is food in the market

the only worthwhile thing about that announcement is that homestuck fans who thought they were better than vivziepop fans and vivziepop fans who thought they were better than homestuck fans are all having meltdowns over it. hilarious

i also don't know if that's representative of the average fan or just a very, very loud minority of them. but generally if you want to convince people to get into a thing you like and you arent a kid talking to another kid, ditch the juvenile behavior

also man i thought i was done with isat tests when i got out of elementary school but these fans really are giving me the isat test every time they say to play their game

i have nothing against isat itself. cute characters, cute story. but i've never seen a fanbase so deeply committed to annoying the shit out of everyone

it's a little mind-boggling to me that they put so much effort into the "play isat" shtick instead of just. making normal fanart and appending the game title to it, so people who see it can look it up if the art appeals to them. like how it is for any other media

isat fans seem to believe that the best way to advertise a videogame they like is to annoy people to death about it, because when i see an irritating and repetitive advertisement on tv i get up and buy the thing right away yes sir
