Okay, I'm vaguely interested in this, mainly due to nostalgia of the original 4 games on PS2 (which I still own).

CyberConnect2 unveils .hack//Z.E.R.O. for the studio's 30th anniversary, Bandai Namco not involved

This is fucking despicable. Theyโ€™re copypasting their abuse of trans people onto new targets now (and many of the same targets, given how much overlap there is).

I had to fight for a shared care agreement with the ADHD meds that I fucking need to function. Taking them from anyone is beyond cruel.

"Why are ADHD and Autism suddenly such a big fucking deal"

I dunno, how much louder and brighter and constant did everything get in the last 50 years

Do you not think that has overwhelmed people who are easily distracted or prone to sensory overload

Diffusion of Responsibility One of the features of โ€œAIโ€ is the diffusion of responsibility: โ€œAIโ€ systems are being put in all kinds of processes and when they fuck up (and they always fuck up) it was just the โ€œAIโ€, or โ€œsomeone s...

Reading @tante.cc's latest blog post and agreeing and grimacing at the same time with:

"Because a bunch of men โ€“ and it is always all men โ€“ just donโ€™t want to be responsible for their actions. Which is fine if you are 5. But after 18 it gets old really fucking fast."

Because I think I'd like to move away from Feedly.

There have been some lows, but after watching Iron Fist S2E4, decided that was some BS. I read a season outline, and we've decided we're skipping ahead to Daredevil S3. Nothing of real consequence happens in the rest of Iron Fist S2, and I say that as someone who likes S1.

We're giving up on trying to watch Iron Fist season 2.

Never got round to it while on Netflix. Last year after watching Daredevil: Born Again S1, decided to work through all the Netflix Marvel. (Had watched some shows.)

Toddler logic:

Kiddo having a tantrum because I too am eating an orange with my breakfast, because to her it's her orange.

"My orange," says my toddler.

"Other people are allowed to eat the oranges," I say.

*Exit toddler stage right, crying and howling.*

Happy #ValentinesDay ๐Ÿ’˜

I was once paid to write about the history of Valentine's Day. But this was back in the bad days of pre-2012 Penguin update Google Search.

But here's the thing, we're closer to shitty Google Search than ever before.

So, here's a Valentine's Story

Tonight, I made an exception.

What with it being Valentine's Day tomorrow, I decided to write about the one time a black hat SEO company paid me to write a blog post about the history of Valentine's Day... and how we're shifting back to the days of pre-Penguin Google. Time is a circle, and I hate it.

Currently working on a blog post about the time I was asked to write a blog post about the history of Valentine's Day during the bad days of black hat SEO, and then talking about the shit that went down at Google search in 2019 and the rise of AI slop content.

Time is a circle.

The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher very much is, which Twelve Months comes from.

It's set in Chicago.

If you've ever read the UK based Rivers of London series by Ben Aaronovitch, and like that, high chance you'll like Dresden Files too.

Just finished Twelve Months by Jim Butcher. Part of a long running urban fantasy series that has a very imperfect lead but you can't help adore him.

And I'm re-reading, after 20 years, The Elderling Trilogy by Robin Hobb. Currently on The Ship of Destiny. Really like the intrigues running all over.

My proper, local wool/yarn shop is closing at the end of March.

Truro Wool, how you have enabled me to knit some epic projects over the last 12 years.

From dice bags, to hats and scarves, to the blanket I wrapped my child in when we left the hospital.

I am going to miss this store so damn much.

Mark doesn't quite top his Sex and the City 2 review but he nearly doesn't pause for breath kicking the crap out of this bribe, sorry, "movie."

The musical choice made in it are absolutely bonkers.
