Susan Hall, leader of the Conservatives in City Hall, will face no disciplinary action after sharing an AI-generated image of Sadiq Khan drowning
The post sparked outrage in London Labour, @noahvickers.bsky.social reports
Khan has faced threats to his life throughout his mayoralty and requires 24hr police protection as a result.
The Jo Cox Foundation has rebuked Hall, saying politicians should "set an example" with "the behaviour they demonstrate both online and offline"

Hall is leader of the London Assembly's Conservative group. The image she quote-posted in April shows the mayor struggling to stay afloat in water and was originally captioned by its author: βWhat would you throw to save Khan?β
Hall replied: "A ULEZ camera...."

The monitoring officer found Hall did not break the GLA code of conduct and will not investigate further

Ahead of the spending review announcement, @matildamartin.bsky.social, Noah Vickers & I spoke to London Labour MPs who urged the Chancellor to not deal a "major blow" to the capital
But non-London mayors pushed back, with one source close to a mayor saying London had "always had special treatment"
Two Labour MPs representing seats in London have told PoliticsHome that it would be "shocking" and a "major blow" if reported Spending Review decisions relating to the capital come to pass on Wednesday

Also something tells me Hammersmith Bridge might not be reopening to motor vehicles (or even just buses) any time soon. It's been closed to them since April 2019.
