I'm actually surprised they weren't given time served. As massive of a miscarriage of justice as this is, I expected a more lenient sentence. (this is how bad things have become)

I feel like there are people who should know better and are not exhibiting that knowledge. They *know* what is meant by "transformative"; why are they pretending (or forgetting) not to? 🤦🏼‍♂️

I pop on Twitter once in a while to communicate with some accounts who are not here. Every time, I am surprised by the negative/toxic comments. It's baffling how people happily stay there. Or it's a Stockholm Syndrome situation...

It's very telling when people block others who try to engage civilly.

My thinking was: if I learned it in 5th grade, most people likely learned it somewhere along the line from elementary-high school, much like how I assume people learn geography, math, etc. Apparently, this is not the case.(not being sarcastic, btw)

I will never understand why there is such a reticence in Canada to celebrate our athletes, regardless of the sport.

Magdeleine's win was truly epic which should have been headline news Saturday. Instead, broadcasters like Global did not have one word about this phenomenal victory.
