Others have said so before me, but the blatant disregard for evidence and clear medical consensus by so many, in plain sight of the harms being caused, will make this the next MMR or Hep C scandal. It's inevitable. We'll be looking back on it in years to come asking why and how.

Neither of these "experts" is neutral, one of them is notorious for links to what patients have called abusive conversion therapy.

If the presence of a person from a marginalised community causes you alarm or distress maybe you should have support to move beyond your response based on prejudice.

It is not on that person to remove themselves to cater to that prejudice.
