People talk about international law like it's some divine retribution that's going to magically be handed down by politicians that won't even say the word “genocide.” Who's going to do the punishing? This is not a movie. In real life, war criminals get job offers, and genocide is an advertisement.

People accept propaganda in ways that make history a fairy tale. All of this talk about The Hague and war crime punishment after WW2 leaves out episodes like the asylum offered to Nazis through Operation Paperclip and the US protecting the perpetrators of Japan's unfathomable horrors at Unit 731.

Take every opportunity you get to talk to your elders. Their stories and experiences are a part of your cultural legacy. We may build a new world, but their world was a part of what led us to where we are headed. Honor them by listening.

Labor activist Chris Smalls has been released from an Israeli prison, a spokesperson for the Freedom Flotilla Coalition said

Weird how all the companies for whom, at best, seeing us killed for our identity isn’t a dealbreaker are like, ‘We need to scan your face.’

“However, his international union leader, Teamsters union President Sean O'Brien, has stayed silent on the detention of Smalls, who founded the Amazon Labor Union, which is now an affiliate of the Teamsters.”

“Chris Smalls is still in Givon Prison and despite repeated requests to meet with the U.S. Embassy has been ignored by his country after being abducted by the IOF in international waters.”

Gaza Freedom Flotilla has released statement that Black labour leader Chris Smalls (Amazon Labour Union) faced violence that no one else on Handala did. He has been severely beaten in Israeli custody.

Smalls follows in legacy of Black radical tradition for Palestine. Labour must stand for Smalls.
