Absolutely but there first actions don't fill me with hope sadly from a hospital bed in Northampton general after sitting wheelchair with sepsis since Friday waiting for a bed eventually got one Sunday evening 4bed bay is now 7 bed bay #FixNHS

Autonomy for people to make their own decisions about their life can not be reached unless there are systems in place to support every single Disabled person. We are nowhere even near that place. I say no. #AssistUsToLive #Disabled

Social care in the UK is already more than shaky and it puts disabled and elderly people's lives at risk. What's more it can cause family members to give up jobs - or worse, if the disabled person isn't loved, encourage them to think of themselves as a burden. #AssistUsToLive not die.

Once that door is opened, the criteria will inevitably be loosen and relaxed, as evidenced across the globe.

More should be invested into palliative care
