My silly accomplishment: I really wanted to run ZZT (1991 game) on a computer for my friends to try on my birthday. I researched, & got it running on my Steam Deck via Linux-emulated version, plugged in a keyboard, and it worked!!! Plus we were playing Creatures & Curse of Monkey Island (+ Poy Poy)

Zeta is a small emulator, implementing a fraction of a DOS-compatible environment just large enough to run ZZT and Super ZZT, allowing user-friendly and accurate usage of them in modern environments, as well as easy packaging, distribution and embedding of ZZT games.

So many memories!! Did you make any games in it?

I used the Linux version of this ZZT emulator (called Zeta), and it just boots up right into ZZT. Way easier than DOSBox (though I love that program!)

It's not on my Steam account, however; I booted into desktop mode for this/to play.
