Very excited to launch indiedispatch.online into the world with @sheegoggery.bsky.social. It's way earlier than we expected, and we don't even have the logo yet. But the whole YouTube thing meant we just wanted to hit the ground running.

Woke up to find a tonne of snow. Literally going to be walking 3kms in the snow to work today.

I really love living in Shiga. Tokyo was fun but this area just has a slower pace and is so close to Kyoto and Osaka.

This is the confusing this - PixelsForBreakfast1836 was not the URL. It was a flat pixelsforbreakfast. It's like someone got in there, changed the channel name or something and it's gone... but why?

The .jp domain has lapsed, we are going back to the .net I need to update that on profiles.

Literally was talking about trying to organize an interview with you with Pat yesterday, and then found out the channel is just MIA.

I've tried posting in their reddit and the community forums again. But I am not holding my breath.

No one had access, and I didn't even have a Google Workspace account. Something real weird has happened here, and while I get that the channel wasn't pulling insane numbers, I was super proud of all the indie interview content I had done and was hoping to grow that aspect.

There's no Google support links or chat options unless you are a top tier creator, so it seems that according to everything I can find "I am shit out of luck"

Zero notice or reasoning. I got a new sub like 8 days ago. We were getting ready to make some content for Feb and a friend noticed the page was gone.

It's funny that making more self-hosted areas of the internet has been at the top of mind lately. I literally just started a blog last week where I talked about this. Now I am motivated by spite I guess.

I have spent the last week and change working with @sheegoggery.bsky.social on a new indie series idea and now the channels are gone.

I don't even want to start over again. I think Federated services from now on. So done with the bullshit of bigger companies.

Yesterday I found out that the @pixelsforbreakfast.bsky.social YouTube account was deleted. No notice. . No way to recover the account, and no real way to talk to YouTube support.

8 years of content gone. Interviews that were important to me like Greg Kasavin, @chetsucks.com, many others.

This fucking sucks! I was just talking to @jesawyer.bsky.social and @thewritegame.bsky.social about how great this show was a few months ago. If anyone can do something to get eyes on this and save the show, please tell them this is worth supporting.

Was probably my favourite game of last year, just from the sheer amount of voice acting from a small team who only made co-op party games before this. It’s not perfect but it was an unexpected surprise for me.

The Aussie accents also made me feel slightly homesick haha.

@bb.wavelengths.online did you ever have a Zune? I was a big iPod hater in high school for some stupid reason. I remember driving 2 hours to a McDonald's parking lot to buy a US imported Zune off a dude for $200. It was glorious!

So proud of our crew. This game at a critical moment for us as we round out our beta before the end of the year, and launched our first demo. A lot of exciting things happening at The BIT.
