Happy Veterans Day to all the veterans out there. Thank you for your service. This is my father-in-law in Da Nang in 1968. He was life long conservative Republican. In 2020 he voted for Joe Biden and last Tuesday he voted for Kamala Harris. He’s my hero.

Friday, I spent the afternoon with my good friend. I baked her a carrot cake and she bought me lunch, and then we went hiking. We agreed to meet more often, since she’s retired from teaching and has more free time. Speaking of time, I’m planning on spending more time with my friends and family! ❤️

It’s a dark time. I’m finding light in spreading love. It's not going to stop what's going to happen. It's not going to stop the impending darkness. It's not gonna to save any Palestinians, Ukrainians, LGBT, blacks, women, the undocumented, or anyone else out there who's vulnerable. It's just love.
