Thank you. It tasted nice. After the day I've been having I was expecting it to sink in the middle π

01.02.2026 17:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0A collage pasted on a light brown backing paper. The main image is a photograph of the gaff rig schooner sailing close to the coast, from right to left. Standing behind her in the water and as tall as the schooner itself is an engraving of Isaac Newton demonstrating his light experiments,. He holds a wooden pointer which is directed towards the top rear boom of the ship. A speech bubble in the style of 18th century satirical cartoons comes from his lips with the words "A Boom!" inside. There is a stormy dark sky. At the bottom is a light blue image of a mermaid swimming from right to left and trying to catch a deep sea fish.

Rather a funny shape but at least it's ready. I can get on with the soufflΓ© now. Let's hope I don't mess that one up!

1st-2nd February is Imbolc, a Gaelic festival celebrating the impending lambing season and the birth of new life. A Scottish legend tells that the arrival of snowdrops infuriates Beira, Queen of Winter, so she brings frost and snow as she battles to keep her hold. #FolkloreSunday

The Moonβs cratered surface is sharply defined, glowing bright against the deep shadows of the sky. A still and atmospheric moment, capturing the quiet beauty of the February Snow Moon.
Tonight, the Snow Moon rises.π
Named for Februaryβs deep snows, this full moon was also called the Storm Moon or Ice Moon in Old English, reflecting winterβs grip.

01.02.2026 16:00 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thanks Mike. We have all the fairy lights lit to try to give a little cheer amongst the gloom. Spring will be hwre before we know it. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day xx
01.02.2026 15:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Actually I've just checked and there is no fire festival in Marsden this year, they did a daytime Story Walk today instead. That's a shame, we certainly need some light right now. Still I'm sure it was a lovely walk.
01.02.2026 15:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Well it sure is a gloomy day. Today is the festival of Imbolc. This was revived in Marden, Yorkshire in the 1990s with fire festival and the battle of the Green Man and Jack Frost. We certainly need some light right now. Anyway let's celebrate the coming of Spring. It will soon be here.
