Rather a funny shape but at least it's ready. I can get on with the soufflé now. Let's hope I don't mess that one up!

Actually I've just checked and there is no fire festival in Marsden this year, they did a daytime Story Walk today instead. That's a shame, we certainly need some light right now. Still I'm sure it was a lovely walk.

Well it sure is a gloomy day. Today is the festival of Imbolc. This was revived in Marden, Yorkshire in the 1990s with fire festival and the battle of the Green Man and Jack Frost. We certainly need some light right now. Anyway let's celebrate the coming of Spring. It will soon be here.

Today is Sunday. Sundays are always quiet, restful days. Church this morning, then letter writing after lunch and then some quiet reading time. I like quiet, restful days, they help me recharge for the week ahead 😊
