Hey. HEY. Just look at these pencils a mate of mine found in a pound shop earlier.

HOLY SHIT. After Real Ghostbusters figures, the rerelease of the TMNT Sewer, 90's accurate Scarlet Spider, Marvel vs Capcom figures (on two separate maufacturer lines!), and more, I guess I should be unsurprised the action figure world has a sniper dot trained entirely on my bullet ridden wallet.

Further, there is a Tom & Jerry gatcha game that has insane (yet typical for gatcha) designs that I find exceptionally pleasing to a part of my brain cordoned off and labelled "the bad meat":

Everyone seemed pleased by the little gobbo blessing their tables and it made for a great talking point over the weekend.

Then I got them over to Harrogate to hand out to the 12 Grebbers tabling at Thought Bubble!

I finished on the Friday so they're a bit rough around the edges (superglue frosting takes an extra 24 hours to delete, le sigh) but I've only realised by looking at file dates I did this in a week?! Crazy.

Painting them I realised early on I'd have to triage to some fully painted and some stock plastic bodies. I masking taped things up (by far the fiddliest part) and primer sprayed the big areas, before then painting details by brush. Super glued them all together and gave em a lil' Mr Hobby spray.

Then I section up all the parts to 3d print now that my Saturn 4 actually works! Then I had to sand down a lot of the connecting pegs because I didn't size them with enough clearance: whoopsie?! First put together, I joked they looked like Hell Smurfs. Then cleaning with isopropyl and a toothbrush.

How I Made 13 GREB Art Figures In A Week. First of all you can blame @mdpenman.bsky.social for designing the cover of GREB with a highly vinyl art toy adjacent croc character. I 3d modelled the blighter in VR with Adobe Medium. I then do a 3d render in Blender to check it looks good in plastic.
