І я пішов, прискорюючи крок, Назустріч людям і навстріч світанню Нового дня, нових ідей, думок, І в серці місця не було ваганню.

I want to share a Ukrainian poem I've translated: Vasyl Symonenko, "Know This: The People Will Never Die"

He defied the USSR from within with a powerful sense of abiding humanity. I've made some translation choices to amplify what I see in him, relating to volunteers in the struggle today. 🫶🇺🇦

Dmytro was born near Yevpatoria in Ukrainian Crimea. He lived for 10 years under Russian occupation and passed information about Russian troops to the Ukrainian special services.

At some point Europe will need to realize that Russia is at war.
