"That Falling Soldier" by Robert Capa (while possible staged) is a good example. Very few artists would draw the figure this way.

I know you're supposed to exaggerate and smooth motion in comics for the sake of clarity, but there's a wonderful staccato awkwardness to photographs that I really enjoy. I like it when moving things look slightly unbalanced and weird.

"Crispy" Link Teno Games: Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom Purah put a corpse in the shrine. What else could she do? So of course what came out wasn't the knight. The reborn heroine only remembers scraps of the dead man's life, and has a very different personality. She's definitely no stoic knight. And unlike him, who tolerated Zelda out of duty, she's utterly devoted to her princess. But Zelda never escaped the dragon, and Crispy still scours the depths and the skies for her.

Last, but certainly not least, we have Crispy!

Got her nickname from Sidon, who exclaimed "Oh dear, you're crispy aren't you?" upon first seeing her.

"Fuzzbutt" Link Ordon Games: Twilight Princess, Link's Crossbow training He knows why she did it. She had a duty to both Hylians and Twili and the mirror threatened them both. He doesn't blame her, but it still hurts. Home is the same as always, but nothing fits, and while Zelda has pardoned the resistance for their role in her corrupt father's death, she avoids Link. With half a plan, a sword of light, and a shard of the Twilight Mirror, Link sets off to find Midna.

Time for Fuzzbutt! A werewolf with separation anxiety. He's picked up a crossbow and the sword of six sages and is off searching for... something.

LTC Link Seckern Games: Hyrule Warriors The War of Eras wasn't the end. After the defeat of Ganondorf and Cia, Link had to deal with rival nations taking advantage of a weakened Hyrule. At one point, nearly dying from an ax to the face. And now Lana claims that the rivers of time are merging , an extinction level event that needs multiple heroes from across time to prevent. They'll need a leader accustomed to dealing with strange loners. Who better than him?

The next Link Death is the LTC from Hyrule Warriors: DE (he's been promoted from Lieutenant).

"Mr. Hero" Link Smith Games: A Link Between Worlds, Tri-Force Heroes While his early training was as a blacksmith, Mr. Hero gained a sense of style and elegance on his travels, inspriing him to make more sophisticated metalworks, including adding magical augmentations under Gramps' tutelage. After a series of quakes rocked Hyrule, Mr. Hero took his best sword and went to investigate the source. History does not record his return.

Meet Mr. Hero! Yes, he's taken Ravio's nickname for him. Saved Hyrule and Lorule from a mad artist (but I repeat myself) and then had a fashion adventure.

Is this entire Zine based on a pun of "Twink Death?" Yes. Yes it is.

The Cats Games: Four Swords (???) What happens when a hero's darkness conquers them? That's what happened to one of the ancient heroes of the four sword. Found and defeated in the palace of the four sword by a younger Gramps, he took pity on the Dark Link and was able to free it from its prison. Being an inverted hero, in the light it can only exist in animal form, but in the presence of dark magic can return to Hylian shape. Currently, it is Gramp's spoiled pet, and a sparring partner for Mr. Hero.

On to the third Link Death! The Palace of the Four Sword in the GBA version of A Link to the Past sure has some crazy implications, like the Four Swords guy dying or somehow becoming corrupted. There's more than one Four Swords Link so who knows exactly who it is though.

"Gramps" Link Miles Games: A Link to the Past, Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons, Link's Awakening A lifelong traveler who survived many encounters with evil thanks to his quick wits and quicker speed. The former hero of legend has semi-retired, but still travels to satisfy his boundless curiosity and expand his collection of magical objects. Despite his age he's as fast as ever and years of study have made him one of Hyrule's foremost experts on hexes and enchantments.

Coming in next is Gramps! The hero of A Link to the Past, Oracle of Ages/Seasons, and Link's Awakening. He also shows up in A Link Between Worlds as an old man that will beat your ass.

Nintendo has made many decisions with the Legend of Zelda that I do not agree with, but making that little dude from Ocarina of Time into a seven foot tall armored ghost werewolf was the best thing they ever did.

(I am not kidding. They did that.)

"Tiny" Link Lon Games: Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask, Hyrule Warriors When he truly grew up the hero of time was a monster of a man, bearing scars from many transformations and a terrifying well of raw magic. His relationship with Zelda was strained, and he finally settled down as a farmer and a part time mercenary. This lasted until he was slain by the royal army while protecting the sacred realm from them. Dying was inconvenient, but he's still got work to do.

First up: The Hero of Time from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask (also making a showing in Hyrule Warriors)

It's done! I've made a whole dang zine!

A sprawling, textured field of galaxies scattered across the deep black of space. It is filled with the delicate smudges and glowing cores of galaxies of many shapes, sizes and colors, as well as the bright multi-colored points of stars. To the lower left is a region filled with the hundreds of golden glittering gems of a distant galaxy cluster. In the foreground, below and right of center, two blue spiral galaxies look like eyes beneath the entangled mass of a triple galaxy merger in the upper right. A few bright blue points of foreground stars pierce the glittering tapestry. Throughout the image, thousands of galaxies gather in clusters or are spread throughout, like glittering gems strewn on a table. Some are sharp-edged and spiral, like coiled ribbons; others round and diffuse, like polished pebbles. Still others are just smudges of various colors.
