Same happens when I pull to load new posts - immediately scrolls me to the newest one. Do people not read their feeds chronologically?

Maybe someone can help: when opening the app, bluesky always scrolls to the latest post in my feed. Is there a way to stop that and instead keep the scrolling position from my previous session? Would like to engage more on here but that behaviour makes reading really weird
