Well put. I think people hear about the tragedies of the series and think that’s all there is, but I can say that every pov has moments that make me cheer or just move me. Nihilism is definitely the wrong way to describe it

Love the hell out of this. Alan Moore’s BBC Maestro course has this as a core tenet. Which…surprises no one. Anyway. My favorite excerpt about the power of the pen:
