National History Day has lost its funding. Middle and high school students study and present an exhibit, documentary, web page, play or paper on an event or person. Seriously, they've lost $350.000 because of DOGE. Support education much?

The Governor took away civil rights protections for iowans today. Who are politicians like Kim Reynolds doing things like this for? Themselves.

As predicted my hats are safe. Iowa Gov Kim Reynolds took less than a day to sign a bill stripping trans Iowans of their civil rights. It’s a sad day in a long string of sad days.

I weep for Iowa, my home state, for denying civil liberties to trans people. The governor hasn’t signed it yet, but if she doesn’t, I’ll eat my hat. 😭😡
