i am playing @eldritchcrow.bsky.social’s game, aether, tonight for the first time and i’m both nervous and excited. eeeeee.

they’ve used ICFs as a way to traffic disabled people. they’re still using them to this day.

i have been denied ID in order to be disappeared into the system. i’m not the only one. i’m not the only person who knows this.

idk if people realize that human trafficking in the US is such a fucking part of the foundation of its very existence.

*i* was human trafficked, first by my “adoptive” mother, and then by the very system meant to help autistic/disabled people like me.

my right hip was dislocated and i was unable to walk. i also had two of my fingers broken, which never healed properly because of their refusing medical treatment.

i had my medications taken from me for three months by the very person who was supposed to be helping me as a disabled client.

they have been sued multiple times for these violations and more, yet the system in place refuses to do anything about it.

i was severely injured by another client and was not given medical treatment. i was threatened with losing my medicaid and SNAP if i told anyone or sought medical help.

so the county and state boards of developmental disabilities have been actively trying to silence me and disappear me because i spoke out about the abuse towards me, towards other clients, and their constant violations of our rights. i have been stalked, poisoned, and physically assaulted.

if someone had said to me that the love of my life would change the fabric of time and space just to make the voices of my trauma fade from existence, i wouldn’t have believed them, but here the fuck we are healing all of those curses those previous generations bestowed upon us. 🥰
