I always have respect for a guy who does not just scan a negative, but instead, take the time to process it the way it should be: Enlarged on photographic paper. The MGRC is a good one. πŸ‘πŸ‘

Taking a lot of notes about film-dev combo from film shooters and actually, from what I can see, no matters the film, D-76 is pretty often THE dev of pictures that look great to me. I know that post editing after scanning can change the result but definitely have to try it.
Superb street shots ! πŸ‘πŸ‘

If at first you want just to process films, it is inexpensive: a changing bag, a tank and some chemicals.

If you want to enlarge and print, it will take some more, but it is so rewarding.

Sometimes I think taking photos is for me just an excuse to go in the darkroom.

-Medium format when possible.
-Addicted to the smell of the fixer early in the morning
A bonus one:
-Being 1 hour in the darkroom, has the same effect on me as a full day at the spa for others.

So shiny I am sure they screwed the light meter.
It looks like a TV add playing when I was young (yep TV existed then), about tanning oil.

But honestly... I like this shot.πŸ‘πŸ‘

I would usually said the one that has been edited a bit. However, here the original appears more natural to my eyes because the "warm" orange tone is more uniform. On the edited one it is like if only half the picture has this warm tone but not the other half.

Stock photo. It means a human spent hours in front of the screen editing it for that level of quality and said "Oh my job is so good let's sell it 10$ to a stock photo agency that will sell it $200". No creativity here, just a copy & paste job. At least AI would have been a good excuse.

It looks like if 2 layers of film was in the same reel slot going one over the other. The sprockets of the top layer affecting the development on the layer just under.

Just my opinion, it's worth what it's worth, that is why I give it for free. πŸ˜€

Can't go without re-posting.
And probably a marketing genius said:
-"Bah! it will be fine" or "Nobody will notice".
And that kind of thing is controlling our planes and operate on our brains. I am so reassured.

Some reds appear really red, but some others are brownish. But we have to keep in mind this an experimental film.

Color of the Phoenix II are not too bad, a bit on the warm side.

The message Kathleen is reading has the merit of being clear.
Too clear for me.
But anyways, nice shots! πŸ‘πŸ‘

Pontiac Pathfinder 1958. Built in Canada, for the Canadian market. Only few thousands built every year. However in 1958, only 449 were built.

If you put 2 negatives (one that is correctly exposed and one under exposed) on a light table, do they look of the same density? Anyone tried to print one instead of scanning it? Since everybody who got this problem, are reporting it from a scan. It is like if scanners had a problem with the film.
