I hadn’t known this. Two men who were accused of sexual abuse on the Shitty Media Men document that I created back in 2017 reached out to Michael Wolff for help as they looked to sue me, and Wolf forwarded their concerns to Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein offered to help. www.jmail.world/thread/EFTA0...

It’s 2026. There is a measles outbreak in the prison for babies

The lower left is indeed pink, not brown. It’s a muted millennial pink that doesn’t photograph well.

The baby pink one is a blend that includes merino and angora, but it’s not like I’ve found THAT in any other color.

Oh I did find a gray cashmere once, repaired the holes and gave it to my son.

Sweaters piled on a couch. They are: baby pink, salmon pink, millennial pink, Barbie hot pink.

I like to knit with wool yarn so I have been going to thrift stores to look for wool. I discovered 2 surprising things.

1) there is very little wool but l find cashmere on almost every visit (!)

2) all the cashmere is pink

Also, something most non-EV owners don't realize when we're talking about charging: most happy EV owners charge their EVs at home. Charging on the road is essential for road trips but not a day-to-day issue if you have a charger at home.

How Well Do Tesla Superchargers Work for Non-Tesla EVs? - Consumer Reports Tesla has made some Superchargers accessible to non-Tesla EVs. Consumer Reports auto experts tried out NACS adapters and Magic Docks with several non-Tesla EVs.

Non-Teslas can charge at Tesla superchargers (may need an adapter) BUT in many cases you need to block 2+ charging spaces to actually accomplish this.

Opinion | Charging an EV? Prepare for frustration. Public charging stations have advanced considerably, but reliability remains elusive.

What's described here about EV charging is exactly the reason you see so many Teslas on the road, despite the company being so horrible in other ways.

Tesla charging networks are (mostly) reliable; so is the routing app which is built into the car.

my life's goal is to keep moving from one Southern state to another, screaming "ACTUALLY THIS PLACE IS PURPLE AS FUCK, IT'S ALL VOTER SUPPRESSION" until Republicans lose major elections, and then move on to the next one like some weird electoral locust

Good advice from an ophthalmologist Dr Glaucoflecken (I know - still not sure it's a real name) on what to do if you get tear-gassed.

Looking at you, #Minnesota Warriors for Democracy & Justice!

Also #Minneapolis. Y'all know we always got you, right?

Peace & love!

And Peter Attia MD telling Epstein the biggest problem with being his friend is he can’t tell anyone about the life he lives. Nice.

As far as I can tell, no! I remember LoseIt telling me I stuck to my calorie goal on days I had a beer. Well yeah, I only have a beer in the evening if I have the calories to spare.

Whoop also told me melatonin correlates with poor sleep for me. Well yeah, which nights do you think I take it on?

If these numbers are right, they sold 1.6 million model 3 and Y last year, and only 50,000 S, X, and cybertruck combined. tridenstechnology.com/tesla-sales-...

Those are the fancy models, the ones where the target market is basically just Tesla fanboys. Implying that the model 3 and Y (the normal ass cars people actually own) are what it makes sense to sell…logical tbh.

What if our local news was run by workers, and neighbors β€” accountable to our own working-class problems β€” instead of being both-sides-ing millionaire pet projects? We teamed up w/ our community and formed PAPER to do just that. Can you donate to support today?

Not only do we deserve to celebrate wins for their own sake, loud and public celebration helps the cause. Celebration is strategic. Celebrate the fuck out of your wins.

Photo of the appropriately named Winter Mausoleum in Allegheny Cemetery: a large blocky stone mausoleum with large ornamental columns in the Egyptian Revival style, fronted by a wide set of seven stairs flanked by buxom sphinx statues. The mausoleum is surrounded by trees and everything is under a layer of about eight inches of snow.

Several feet in front of the mausoleum, someone has sculpted a likeness of one large-breasted statue out of snow, replicating its engimatic smole with twigs plucked from a dead branch that lays nearby.

Pittsburgh, I need you to know that someone made a snow-tittysphinx.

Husband, this morning: I mean it’s a lot but it’s not THAT many inches. See, you can tell by the roof of the car. Looks like only about 4 inches.

Me: as of when?

Him: just now

Me: Yeah I cleared about 6 inches off it with a pushbroom a few hours ago

Also: shovel early and often. Don’t wait for the snow to stop. Better to get 4 inches 4 times than try to tackle 16” all at once.

A tip from someone who lived through Snowmageddon 2010: PRESERVE ACCESS.

Think β€œif this pile of snow were 3x as big and coated in impenetrable ice, would that be a problem?”

Dig out your mailbox, trash cans, car, etc now.

Love, someone who had to pick up mail at the post office for weeks.

People didn’t hoard (much) TP during Covid either. The demand for those big office/commercial rolls sold through their own channels completely shifted to demand for home rolls sold in grocery stores etc. Even if everybody bought their exact usual amount there would still be shortages.

Anyway I’ve just been annoyed at all the posts like β€œpeople are stupid” and β€œyou’d think we’re getting 100 inches.” No, it’s just hard to ramp up a store’s supply chains to double(?) capacity in a couple days.
