I hope it has calmed down now. I know people can feel very strongly about their favourites in fandoms, but there is a fine line between enjoying their headcanons with mutuals, and to attack people who don't share their views. Fanartists share their creations for free. Don't like it? Don't look.

What made me stop drawing it was actually angry reactions from a group of people who wanted to pretend Izzy didn't die, and lashed out at people who dared to mention it. A few artists did try to draw it at first, but after being bullied and harassed by that group, we decided it wasn't worth it. ☹️

Absolutely! And sadly very under-represented in fanart. I had hoped for many individual interpretations of that scene, but somehow people have been avoiding to draw it. I feel it needs to be remembered - if I can somehow get time to finish this drawing. 💔❤️‍🩹💖

Aww yeah, that moment - and the entire scene between them - was so beautiful and poignant and emotional! 💔 I loved that scene, it had so many mirrored parallels to earlier scenes between them, and Izzy spent his last moments undoing old damage and hurts - comforting Ed: 'just be Ed... there he is'.

Some of my WIPs and unfinished sketches. 1st: 'there he is' - the most emotional moment of the death scene. 2nd: Unfinished xmas card that I never got time to finish. 3rd: The Pina Colada kiss. 4th: Some character sketches of Ed and Stede. I don't know if or when any of these will be completed.

The move to Bsky - where everybody were equally new and therefore friended everybody else, changed all that. And tags makes a world of difference. Now we can all be seen and heard when we post something! It's such a huuge relief to finally be able to speak and be heard! Bluesky changed everything!

The move to Bluesky was a huge relief for all us fans who never managed to beat the matrix (or whatever it's called). We had to live without a voice because nobody saw anything we posted. There was no way for us to be able to say anything in the fandom - while on Twitter.

We still have cons and fandom projects, both for fanart/crafting and for fanfics, and it's only 6-7 months ago that the fandom created an entirely new episode written by David Jenkins. So we do still have new stuff - and lots of activities. You simply need to look in the right places. 🥰

I can't get into Twtr anymore (for obvious reasons), but I'm very interested in the picture frame template. Would you consider sending the file, or posting it in a discord group or something? 🧡💛
