WW love to post shit like “voting for a racist doesn’t mean you’re a racist but it does mean it’s not a dealbreaker.” We need to ask ourselves - is it a dealbreaker in OUR relationships? Do we allow racist friends/family in our lives? What are we sacrificing on the altar of politeness?

One thing white women need to do w/ a quickness is stop calling ourselves allies - we need to EARN that title. So much performative activism in 2016 & I’m seeing it again now. Worry less about posting poems & more about making the racists in your social circles uncomfortable w/ their bigotry.
