I was fighting Google Assistant (GA) to communicate with my self hosted @home-assistant.io It was working until yesterday…. it turns out @cloudflare.social bot fighting mode was blocking legitimate GA POST requests! Again I could not have figured it out unless Claude told me what to look for.

I didn’t use the moonshot one, tried openrouter free kimi-2 on cline. I’ve a deadline and can’t experiment with Claude Code on the dev machine for now… will definitely in the future. I can see why /status will say that or else Claude Code may not send requests.

I’ve been using @anthropic.com Claude Code (CC) for app, middleware, & backend dev for the past week. I’m really impressed with opus 4. Now that Kimi-K2 is out, which has amazing tool calling functionality, one can trick CC to use this anthropic-compatible model for a fraction of the cost.
