The Skrmetti decision is a travesty, but it is limited to the medical context for minors and does not bless all discrimination against transgender people. We also have other arguments against these bans. Transgender youth, please know that we love you and will fight for you.

I’m particularly proud of this lawsuit against the administration’s unprecedented, sweeping, and discriminatory terminations of NIH funding for LGBQTI+ health research. Our LGBTQI+ community knows all too well that silence equals death. But we will not be silenced. We will not be ignored.
