And, Congress sat by, acquiesced access, and watch Musk and DOGE comb through all our data for an undisclosed purpose — information far more detailed than contact data. Our voices are loud, but Congress appears deaf or even perhaps insensitive to what the rule of law protects.

Dear Democrats - our government is broken. Please do not endorse the carnage by voting for a CR that you do not , in good conscience, support. Stand strong and demand bipartisan dialogue - vote to support your constituents, your moral compass. A shut down is pretty much what we have — it’s broken!

No one resolves suspected fraud and corruption with a be-jeweled chain saw. Fraud, corruption - both prosecutable crimes - but both need evidence. No evidence presented, no transparency, no accountability. They disrupt and break thing to capture our attention and hope we don’t notice-but WE SEE you

Thinking that after today (funding of Medicaid, free lunch for school kids, HIV/AIDS drugs to Africa, etc.) that they don’t have a clue how government works and more egregiously, they don’t care enough to learn or to know - Trump said it best in his response to his J6 pardon - “too cumbersome”

Tonight the GOP senate members revealed their cowardness and their ability to ignore character concerns and needed qualifications and for Secretary of Defense. They have jeopardized the security of our Nation and our armed forces, and openly pledged their subservience and fealty to Trump.

It is indeed devastating and reaches far beyond the boundaries of the U.S. - challenges our ability to collaborate with international colleagues, disrupts progress and knowledge building. It is a myopic, reactionary, punitive decision made by ignorant of science!

Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde - in an environment of anger, threat, and indifference, she speaks of mercy, acceptance, kindness and understanding. Her words shared her concern, a concern that many feel. It is comforting to see such compassion in a political arena that is so caustic.

Joni Ernst showed a lack of integrity, commitment to the Constitution, lack of respect for the voting populace. She sold out, buying herself, what she thinks will be an easier ride back to the senate in 2026. I hope the people of Iowa have more integrity than she does when they vote!

Gabbard, Kennedy et al. lack sufficient knowledge, expertise, and indication of needed performance skills; and a substantive lack of integrity, ethics, character.Trump’s cabinet - individuals who, without him would NEVER be cabinet considerations; they are beholden to him and subservient in return.

You don’t have to spend time studying up if the rhetoric comes from the “Trump Bible” - no worries about fact, evidence, or credibility.

Listening to Johnson’s speech as newly-elected Speaker of the119th Congress as he quoted Jefferson. For Jefferson, words with meaning and reverence; for Johnson, vacuous discourse and disingenuous.

While power seeking narcissism blinds much of Congress it is critical to maintain vision, hope, courage and determination‼️
