I myself will probably be raising my amazon prices to match the barnes and noble price to get people to use that instead

Obviously I need to find another avenue for distribution, but figured I'd just let people know the difference real quick since a lot of this information is obfuscated behind layers of online blog posts.

To any of my fellow #writers out there, having now published my first book and gotten onto two major platforms, my takeaways are this.

Amazon gives you a little more flexibility and more money. Higher returns on royalties.

Barnes and Nobles is more straightforward, but way less on royalties.

You don't even have go that far. I had jury duty recently and people were excused for FAR less. I'm pretty sure if you got up there and just said you hold a strong belief regarding the subject you're gonna get axed. More so if you're early on in the process.

I'm only about 8 hours into #kcd2 but I can already tell this is going to be a favorite of mine. It's so rare to see a game tackle this time period with such taste and attention to detail.

It's both an incredible immersive sim and a compelling story. It's also just damn fun.

Just finished #PacificDrive. Overall would recommend it!

My one complaint was the game play loop was a little disjointed. Driving? Fun! Fixing the car? Fun! Collecting items? Not fun. Breaks up the flow of the game too much when you get out of the car every 30 seconds to collect items.

I can't count the number of times I'll be #writing and think of a cool line, add it in, then discover 2 paragraphs later I already wrote it somewhere else.
