Brilliant, thanks Claire. In my original project plan I had 4 days set aside for research at the archives so I’ll definitely be back. I was more interested in seeing that hand written thesis again for this project but would like to see the rest of this collection too.

Empire of Normality unfolds the history of the ‘normal mind’ as a product of capitalism and how that has shaped perceptions of neurodiversity, mental health and disability. It is a great book! I wonder how this has also shaped our relationships with/to nature?

It was too cold to hold the charcoal steady at #MorecambeBaySketchClub yesterday but the beach and bubbling sea by Heysham's nuclear power station made for an incredible landscape to explore.
