I'm worried for the future of televised news and how governments can use AI to make up anything they want to control the narrative and force people to behave how they want. Honestly, as an artist, generative AI already upset me, but this future is even more terrifying to me without regulation.

With how fast generative AI is improving, I feel it's more important now than ever for schools to teach critical thinking and how to do research without the use of even more AI, to help curb future generations from believing in anything they see immediately...

Every smart device should be required to have an option to turn off anything AI in it. I feel gross every time I see it pop up somewhere, and it feels so inescapable.

Maybe a selfish reason but seeing people saying they're leaving / won't come back to any sites just puts more fear into my thoughts of being able to sustain myself online as a freelancer. I envy folks who dont have to care about it much but I do, and all these regulations just sink that fear deeper.
