Ok, I finally saw the Jurassic World movie. No notes… except maybe more Dunkelosteus content… and maybe don’t say there’s more oxygen in the tropics…ok lots of notes 🤣🤣🤣 #paleontology

I've worked with NSF for 32 years. Something is wrong. This is not what they do.🧪

Pic shows a broken up molt of a Paladin trilobite from the Lower Monteagle Limestone Formation. ~340 million years old.
Happy #TrilobiteTuesday, y'all! I'm coming back home this week with a Paladin cf morrowensis molt found less than 5 miles from my house. Thankfully, this little guy dropped his cephalon by his pygidium on his way out! Even these are rarely found.

It would also eliminate an immensely important educational facility for students and the public. 🧪

09.12.2024 13:54 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Ever wondered why walking around museums is weirdly tiring? At normal speed our legs act like pendulums, swinging forward from the hip & saving us a huge amount of energy. In "museum shuffle" our muscles must do ALL the work of constant readjustment. So cake in the cafe is scientifically justified 🥳
