having the thing where a venue I was previously meh on has climbed my Madison venue power rankings by sole virtue of all the good things still being good and all the bad things having remained consistent for ~15 years, vs my previous favorite venue which has fallen BADLY victim to enshittification

honesty feels like the vibe in general of late

remember, the blitzkrieg is intended to make you feel like there is nothing you can do about it; that’s the only reason to go forward in this haphazard and sloppy manner all in the first week

I have a lamp with a smart bulb in my room that I have programmed to do a Fake Sunrise at a time of my choosing - before my alarm clock - year-round so that I don’t have to wake up in the dark. It helps!
