I've seen quite a few episodes of Law and Order, and if it's taught me anything, it's to always be on the lookout for the misdirect. Is it possible all this "tariffs on\tariffs off" b.s. is meant to distract us from the fact that he actually put that plan to shoot a guy on 5th Avenue into action?

I think it might be time to lean hard into the Strauss–Howe generational theory. Like most social science theories, it's mostly pablum, but if you down a stiff drink and buy in hard, it means we exit the crisis phase in 5 to 8 years max....

The "conservative movement that dragged down Trudeau" is pretty much the same one that is being replicated in the UK, EU and most of the western world. Sorry, the "Global North". Either way, Canada's conservative swing is way more about post-Covid inflation ( and nostalgia ) than Trumpism.
