Just got sent to this job because they're delivering equipment to the job site, but I don't know where they're going to put it without a crane to install it. I'm just told meet somebody for delivery. Whatever that means.

I'm sure the cold and soaking wet technicians that are working on these sensitive electronics will do an excellent job trying to weld the hard to reach side of this equipment down in a rain collecting pit, assuming they don't slip and fall or get hypothermia. I'm going to laugh if the crane cancels.

Case in point, Tried to get the office to push back 24hrs on a crane lift install tomorrow due to forecast snow, freezing rain and rain all day. Office says it's going ahead anyway.

I can't do it all but I imagine I'd keep doing it if I didn't have to. I like working with my hands but I would not have the sword of Damocles hanging over my head waiting for an injury or illness to take me out of the field and then starve to death in the cold because I'm no longer profitable.
