Gregory Bateson had an interesting theory about cetacean communication, whether it might be about transmitting non-verbal cues to emotional states like facial expressions & body language (rather limited in the ocean), instead of abstract symbolic language. Definitely the Rosetta Stone of biology!

This would be a wonderful positive AI use-case. Although a strange, difficult reality for a lot of people in 2025.
