And I've always kinda assumed works had to be long and tedious to really impact you, but Gospels of the Flood is pretty short and so engaging

I knew of it when it was released because Chris Christodoulou (whom I love) did the music, but I wasn't ready for the themes and didn't get through the first episode :') I finally listened and it's now one of my favorite works ever β€οΈ

A close-up of the growth, showing the little white mushrooms in more detail.
The stump of a tree that was chewed down by beavers. It's on the edge of a murky shallow brook and it has fungus growing out of it.
A pond in a clearing in the Maine woods. In the background a mountain is visible and the sky is blue with whispy clouds.

Is this a reference to The Secret Garden? I'm listening to the audiobook and it just described this sentiment exactly??

29.12.2024 12:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Does this mean that all things are light at their fundamental level, just arranged differently? I assume this is just one theory of the way stuff works?
29.12.2024 10:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0According to USDA FoodData Central, [watermelon, raw] is 91.4% water and [carrots, mature, raw] are 87.7% water. Definitely much more water in carrots than I thought.
The website stopped working for me, but I bet there are some types of carrot that have more water than some types of watermelon.
