"You can’t be a Democrat and support the Republican and Conservative parties. Not after January 6. Not after the lies, the corruption, the cruelty and erosion of democracy."

The Democratic party is overrun with centrists that are Republican-lite. They dislike Progressives more than Republicans.

DJT is 100x more corrupt than any dictator that has ever existed, by 100s of billions. The other dictators and tyrants of the world wish they had a government as corrupt as the one DJT has made.

You mean to tell me that Billionaires getting subsidized tax dollars don't help solve poverty? Blasphemy!

I hope the corporate centrist Dems are getting nervous.

Not possible with the current culture as far as I can tell. Car brains are too indoctrinated. I honestly don't see progress being made in my lifetime.

Dark web sales are probably skyrocketing.

Y'all already know that most of this administration has substantial crypto holdings.

And earlier this year the libertarian golden child of the dark web was pardoned by the corrupt clown.

Better if agents aren't looking on the dark web, might find πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

I spent some time traveling around Europe by train (and foot), and it was absolutely amazing. For a fraction of the price of a car rental I was able to travel all of England, France, Switzerland, Germany, and a few I can't remember anymore.

Literally not possible in the states. Maybe someday.

The current crop of corporate Dems has no plan, no vision, no heart, and definitely no soul. It's so sad to see, and it's no wonder loads of regular folks won't vote Dem. If anything, their inaction props up the likes of Stephanik, Tenny, and the other fascist crop of NY Republicans.

None of them have endorsed Mamadani.

From what I can tell they are all in politics for self serving reasons and don't honestly give a shit otherwise.

Morelle for sure doesn't care unless it's someone like L3Harris or some other corp contacting his office. Regular folks can get fucked.

I get the impression that's not how Morelle, Schumer, or Gillbrand see things. These big money corporate democrats are silently hostile to any progressive actions.

Even the small game local democrats, Belle and DeVay are silent.

My energy bill in Henrietta 10 years ago was 200-300/month. It's 500-700 a month in 2025. I can't wait to be paying 1000+ in a few years given the current yoy increases in price.

Are the Republicans who voted for this all just so rich they don't give a shit or what?

Women Who Use AI At Work Face A Predictable β€˜Competence Penalty’ Women who use AI are seen as less competent than men who use AI, even when producing identical work. This reflects a common gender bias known as the "competence penalty."

"Their 2025 study found that when women and men both use AI to produce identical work product, the women are viewed as less competent than the men."

My personal favorite is that you can live within your means your entire life and have an unfortunate accident or illness that leads to bankruptcy and they will send you to court mandated financial literacy class.

You're literally one of them, Mr. Do Nothing Morelle. Really sad that I voted for you, won't make that mistake again.

"Do nothing" Democrats have had a stranglehold on NYS for ages. They will ensure that absolutely nothing changes for the better. It's what they are best at.

It's sickening that Democrats do this. Bait and switch with their campaigns, promising to fight for liberal and progressive policies... Then proceed to do nothing except photo ops and fundraisers.

They are happy with the status quo the instant they are elected.

Our local politicians are like this.

It is possible to hold both of these things true at the same time:

1) political violence is never an appropriate choice in a civilized society

2) Charlie Kirk’s dream is to create exactly the kind of society he currently lives in, as spoken from his own mouth

We have a bit of a natural experiment here. Compare the tone, quantity and duration of Charlie Kirk coverage with that of the two Dem lawmakers gunned down in their homes in Minnesota 6 months ago. May be revealing.

We don't have assistance in this country.

I paid tens of thousands into unemployment insurance. I'll give y'all one guess how much I've seen in unemployment after losing my job two years ago. (I filed four times, if I file again I'll be suing NYS)

Not a single one of the above programs works to lift people out of poverty. All of them are chronically underfunded. All of them have barriers to entry that prevent and limit participation. All of them will kick you off without strict adherence to a very strict and very demeaning set of rules.

Failing corporations in this country get (real) assistance.

Calling what we have today for individual assistance is a joke. Medicaid? Food stamps? Unemployment? Welfare?

Yes, children should consider their lifestyle choices more carefully and there would be no childhood poverty.

Hormone therapy isn't irreversible and cis folks have nominal levels of the opposite sex hormone present. Hormone therapy is one of the safest treatments available.

Just admit you're a transphobe.
