Not directly related to the sims but I learned how to edit basic videos this year and learned quite a few skills related to it.

I didn't find the time to create any new holiday prints this year, but hey, the ones from previous years are pretty great and available.

They have duplicates of almost everything. They should start by making sure there’s only one copy of each shader.

At first, I was uncertain whether to feature a large crowd in this three-cat, portrait-poster, and it was a lot of work but really worth it in the end. The crowd represents a diversity of jobs, furs, abilities, ages, and cultures in unison.

The second #art poster inspired by the works of Walter Crane, "Labour is Entitled" (2024) is another three cat portrait commission. The slogan itself was first used in the early 19th century. It features three workers in industries vital to cats: fishing, biscuit making, and catnip production.

Being able to control focal depth for yourself means you can change it for different scenes.

1: I wanted her shoulders to be blurred
2: I needed both of them in focus
3: I only wanted the far distance to be blurred
4: All of the umbrella is in focus but the background is blurred

If not enough of the scene is in focus you need to change whichever setting in the dof you’re using has to control the focal plane.

Changing an entire preset just because you don’t like the depth of focus is really not necessary. You’ll get much better results if you learn how to do it yourself.
