Almost all I've done for the past two weeks is make acorn boxes, acorn pendants, and variations on the theme. I've made a lot. An awful lot. Everybody went mad for acorn boxes...

Imagine, for a second, if you will...
You were a day late filing your Self Assessment Tax Return...and didn't pay the £100 fine...immediately. Even if you'd made losses, and no actual tax was due, you still see court bailiffs at your door, pretty quickly. But £millions? Not so much...

...but I felt Dave had earned the right to live, and I placed him gently on an old oak log, outside. Go well, Dave. Hope the head clears.

FL refused to take the lighthouse home...

Nearly died laughing.

Clearly suffering from a bout of lathe-induced dizziness, Dave crawled out of the Lighthouse door, to relax on the rock, no doubt wishing he'd stocked up on sickness pills, on the last provisions drop.

I don't usually worry about *Lighthouse Keepers*, and just despatch them...

A little story. To brighten (or not) your day...
FL (French Lady) was in today. FL turns only lighthouses (don't ask...I've stopped asking). So, she was turning a lighthouse.
"What do you think, Andy?"
<yawns> Yeah, it's great. As good as any of the 150 you've already made.
She plonks it...

chop up a squash or pumpkin. spray with oil and season. Roast until edges burn. Blitz in blender. Put in an oven dish, add za atar spices, s&p, lots of grated parm, oven until cheese browns. Crusty bread. Bliss.
