There’s 2 types of disconnect. Those who thought the GOP was just saying stuff to get elected and those who don’t follow politics closely.

There was nothing to be blindsided by— this shocks no one who was listening to the rhetoric of the campaign. This POTUS is intentionally creating a leadership vacuum on the global stage with the help of many in that chamber. So please spare us the feigned surprise.
