I think if using it for a once off project itβs fine but ongoing I think cost vs use wasnβt worth it for me.
If you find a low cost option let me know

I just cancelled after a month.
Tbh I found the additional features not much better than the free version for what I needed. An inflated cost for features I didnβt really need.
Iβve been on lookout for a software I can buy that does simple technical drawing and 3D vis but not render
Your wee reminder I'm running an event called After Section 28 which looks at the growing anti-rights movement and attacks on LGBTQ+ people

Hey folks - I'm looking for a reasonable cost, preferable nice social enterprise in Cambridge who could do some hot drinks throughout a day at a conference, possibly some bakes/biscuits.
Any ideas?

After Section 28: LGBTQIA+ rights in an age of censorship and backlash
The growing anti-rights movement in the UK emboldened by what is happening in the US and increasingly well funded is targeting reproductive freedoms, access to abortion and the right of LGBTI people
Any orgs want to be a good ally and help celebrate LGBTQ+ history month in February by sponsoring After Section 28, an urgent 1 day conference to learn from the past and consider what we do now?
Running a bit short on covering overheads, want to make it great!

So much this. As someone who understands how this could work it pains me.
Itβs the staff too who are at their wits end trying to help.
My hospital doctor was an hour late a month ago because she couldnβt get logged into her notes π€¦ββοΈ
Not here to berate anyone and you know there are some AMAZING folks working to improve this but like - what a battle youβve got.
2 hours of my time today trying to find my own health data π΅βπ«
Geesh 3 mins inside a GP practice and weβve had;
- someone needing a letter for ID for housing
- 2 walk through on apps of trying to help people to login
- 2 people being told theyβve not followed right process for appointment
Receptionist being nice but bless them - at the coal face of system
Like Iβm a digital very savvy person - at least I think so and even this is baffling me
Found an SUPER important follow up appointment in patient knows best for next month without any notification π£
Only found it because looking for a letter
I have 5 different sources of info;
Anima - GP appointment platform
Accurux - GP emailing system with separate pdf storage
Patients know best - another platform for data transfer/appointments
NHS app - appointments some data
Do the hard work to make it simple.
Shit show of GP not being able to see my hospital letters and them not having WiFi and 5 different platforms to find βinfoβ of what I need checked and the NHS login saying blocked for 15 mins as asked for too many codes to login into different platforms π΅βπ«
Thanks so much for sharing

Please come! The right are rising, theyβre organising with well rehearsed tactics, and theyβre powerful now
Come listen, learn from the past and reflect on the now, and collectively think through what we can do to push back on the rise of anti-rights agendas
And this matters now because we are regularly seeing LGBTQIA+ events and lessons in schools be challenged, in 2025.
π’ Speaker line up is growing with more to be announced soon. Weβve got stellar line up!
This is a real moment for me. Iβve gone from not knowing anything about Section 28 and the law that censored who I am growing up, to running a conference with the very people who fought for our existence.
27.11.2025 14:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0β« How media narratives have fuelled a renewed moral panic around transgender lives
β«How anti-rights groups operate and what we can do to fight back for human rights
β« Censorship of LGBTIA+ lives and identities being experienced by educators and librarians today
β« Our roles and agency in challenging this growing anti-rights agenda
Weβre covering;
β« The growth of the Anti-Rights movement in the UK and the global picture of funding influencing this
β« Lessons learned from experiencing the moral panic against LGBTQIA+ people the 1980s and campaigning against Section 28
Even though our conference focuses on LGBTQIA+ people, this goes far beyond our rights.
