Last night, some1 noted he closed border. I remember Congress came close w Biden (the correct, permanent way 2do vs exec order)... but Trump told Repubs not2 sign off because a big campaign issue 4him. Biden e/o near end term slowed flow. Real fail not2 have done when bipartisan deal fell through.

Been underwhelmed by look of EV SUVs in general. Had a Polestar 2 on a lease, was great, and, 1 service visit in 39 months. Wasn't enamored w look of the 3. Went w an EQE this time. Love it except cold temp mileage loss is drastic compared to the Polestar. On the lookout for the next EV lease...

In my experience, visiting relatives up in the mountains where ISDN's 19k is still the standard, Starlink was at best inconsistent, peaking in the low 300s. It is not a replacement for fiber. Doubtful as a replacement for cable.
